Ben Foster is delighted his former England colleague Daniel Sturridge has joined Albion's relegation scrap.
Defeat at Manchester City saw the Baggies fall to the bottom of the league with just 20 points for 25 games.
Sturridge has signed for the remaineder of the season and Foster believes the addition of the former Manchester City and Chelsea frontman will help the Baggies in their attempts to stay up.
"He’s a huge addition to our squad,” said Foster.
“You can see the qualities he has even in just the first few days that he has been with us.
“I’ve played with him before and he is a real ruthless finisher.
“He looks really sharp and right on form.
“He’s definitely going to help us.”
