Baggies boss Darren Moore say he was pleased to see his side grind out a result after beating Swansea 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium.

Headed goals from Craig Dawson and Ahmed Hegazi from two Matt Phillips corners saw Albion come from behind to bag all three points.

Moore revealed his side had worked on set pieces prior to the game and was pleased to see his two central defenders on the score sheet.

He said: "It’s always good to pick up three points away from home.

“It was a tough game and Swansea played with a different system, we had to come to terms with that pretty quickly.

“I was pleased with our quick response after their goal.

“Both teams cancelled each other out but we’ve won the game thanks to two corners.

“We thought we could exploit Swansea on set-plays but you have to make sure you get everything right, in terms of the delivery, the timing of the run and then the finish.

“We are really pleased for both Daws and Ahmed.

“I like seeing my centre-backs score.

“We found a different way to win the game and I’m really happy about that. It’s three very valuable points.”
