WBA-MAD 2016-2017 End of Season Report - The Forwards

Last updated : 26 May 2017 By Wba-mad Editor

Albion averaged just 1.1 goals a game last season despite their top-ten finish. WBA-MAD Editor Iain Bate takes a look how Albion's forwards did last season. This won't take long...

Salomon Rondon calls himself the Gladiator. Unfortunatly for Albion fans he's more like the Wolf from the TV version than Russell Crowe. Rondon finished as Albion's top scorer despite amazingly going from December to May without a goal. Desperatly needs support when he's left islolated - especially up front.

Hal Robson-Kanu signed on a free transfer on the summer transfer deadline day as Albion desprately needed to bolster their attacking options. He scored one of Albion's goals of the seasons away at Southampton on his first league start but will never be a regular goalscorer in the Premier League.

Saido Berahino. Remember him? The fat lad made five appearances for Albion but failed to trouble the scorers. Missed loads of chances at Northampton before Albion were dumped out of the league cup. Finally got his move away from Albion to Stoke - yes, Stoke - for a reported £12m. Didn't score all season. Good riddance.
