Former Albion forward Victor Anichebe has made a shock move to Chinese second division side Beijing Enterprises.

The Nigerian international has joined on a free transfer after being released by now relegated Sunderland.

Anichebe joined the Black Cats after his Albion contract expired last summer.

His former Everton boss David Moyes snapped him up on a free transfer but the injury prone striker managed only 18 appearances, scoring three goals.

In fact, Anichebe was forced to miss a large chunk of the season after picking up a knee injury in a tackle with Claudio Yacob during Sunderland's 2-0 defeat at The Hawthorns in January.

During his time at the Baggies, Anichebe made only 25 starts across three seasons after signing for £6m back in 2013. He scored only 6 league goals.
