Craig Beattie looks set to join Championship rivals Swansea City after the two clubs agreed a fee for the 25-year-old. The former Celtic man will become the Swan’s most expensive signing if he passes a medical.
Only last night Beattie played an important part in helping Albion beat Rotherham netting twice. The seven-capped Scottish International, who joined for £1.25 million at the start of the 07/08 season, has failed to hold down a regular starting berth at The Hawthorns making only seven league starts.
