Chelsea powerhouse Romelu Lukaku is expected to join Albion later this week on a season long loan.
Albion are long term admirers of the 19-year-old and scouted the Belgian international prior to his £18m move to Chelsea last season.
The young forward is now meeting club officials ahead of a move to The Hawthorns.
Lukaku’s agent Christophe Henrotay admitted he was currently in discussions about a loan move for Lukaku but wouldn’t specify if he was in negotiations with Albion.
The former Lierse man scored an impressive 33 goals in 73 games for Anderlecht before his move to Stamford Bridge. He is yet to score for the Blues in 8 appearances.
