Albion's long search for sustained goalkeeping competition seems finally complete as Michal Danek looks set to join on loan. The club have agreed a deal with Danek's club Viktoria Plzen until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move. Subject to Danek passing a medical on Wednesday morning, Albion would then have the option of extending the 24-year-old's loan for a further six months, or sign him on a permanent deal in the summer.

The Baggies also look likely to beat of competition from Watford for the loan deal which will see South Korean international Kim Do-heon arrive at The Hawthorns on loan. Seongnam Llhaw Chunma have accepted a deal until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent move if the midfielder impresses. Although a deal has been arranged the move is subject to the 25-year-old agreeing personal terms, passing a medical and being granted a work permit at a hearing in London tomorrow.
