West Bromwich Albion number 2 Keith Downing believes Ben Foster is hitting top form for the Baggies.

The on loan goalkeeper has shown a fantastic level of form since the turn of the year between the sticks for Albion.

Downing says Foster is enjoying his football in the Black Country and highlighted the strong working relationship between him and goalkeeping coach Dean Kiely.

"In the last month or two, Ben has been in top form for us and Saturday was a fantastic performance,"

"Ben kept us in the game with some fantastic saves.

"There has never been a problem with Ben at all, but as Dean Kiely will tell you, he has grown into his position from December onwards and looks a top keeper.

He has grown into his position and grown into the club.

"Ben thoroughly enjoys it here and likes working with Dean.

"He's got an appetite for the game and puts a good shift in every day."

Foster himself revealed recently he is enjoying his spell on loan from neighbours Birmingham City and hinted he'd be prepared to extend his stay at The Hawthorns.
