Albion made easy work of their second round Carabao Cup tie at Acrrington Stanley.

The Baggies were two up after thirty minutes following goals from Salomon Rondon and Matty Phillips.

Jay Rodriguez scored his first  competitive goal for the club in the 64th minute before Stanley pulled a late goal back through Tom Dallison.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis praised the professionalism of his players after overcoming the tricky tie.

"It's a tough place to come," he said.

"It's so far away from what the players experience week-in week-out in the Premier League.

"I thought the attitude was first class."

The next draw will be made on Thursday at 04:15am to decide Albion's next opponents.
