Roman Bednar's agent Eliot Van Tal has confirmed his client will sign a three-year contract before the end of May. The on loan Hearts striker is currently holding out for improved terms on the contract agreed at the start of the season at The Hawthorns, however Tal has revealed he fully expects the striker to sign on the dotted line.

Albion can still pull out of the deal by informing Hearts before May 31st, however reports from top Baggies officials have indicated on a number of times their willingness to tie up a permanent deal.

"There is a contract that was agreed last summer and is still in place but we're hoping we can agree something new," Van Tal said.

"Roman was told that if he did well there was a chance of an improved offer so, coming off the back of the season he has had, that's what we're hoping for.

"There is a new offer on the table from Albion that Roman is not entirely happy with but discussions still taking place and hopefully something can be sorted out."
