Belief's the key for Brunt

Chris Brunt has urged both fans and his teammates to keep the faith in their battle against relegation - despite falling six points from safety.

Albion's 3-1 defeat against Arsenal was their 18th defeat of the season, and with only 10-games left of the season, Brunt is calling for belief.

The Baggies travel to Upton Park next but hope to pick up points in remaining home fixtures against Bolton, Stoke, Sunderland and Wigan, as well as travelling to fellow strugglers Tottenham and Blackburn.

"You always have to believe," the Northern Ireland wide-man said.

"We have shown this season we are as good as a lot of the teams in the Premier League.

"But a lack of concentration and not putting our head on the ball at set-pieces is costing us.

"As the gaffer keeps saying, we've still got a few home games that we need to pick up points in.

"Arsenal was possibly a chance because they haven't been going well but that one is gone now.

"I know it gets harder as each game slips away but you have to look at it like that.

"It's over now and we have to look at the next game and at trying to win points at West Ham.

"It's the same for any team at the bottom of the league.

"It's a tough place to be and nobody wants to be there.

"It's down to us as a group of lads to turn it around.

"We've got a squad of about 25 players and that's what we've got to get us out of the situation we're in.

"We've still got points to play for.

"But if we keep defending like we have been we will give ourselves an uphill task."
