Darren Moore says his Albion side have set the standard for the rest of the season after their crushing win over promotion-chasing Leeds United.

Albion were excellent throughout and fired four second half goals to end their four game winless streak.

Goals from the excellent Hal Robson-Kanu, Matt Phillips, Harvey Barnes and Dwight Gayle saw Albion return back into the play-off places. Pablo Hernandez scored a late consolation goal for the visitors.

"That was a good performance, an accomplished performance, and a good three points as well,” said Darren Moore.

“We always felt we had a performance like that coming. The boys put in a level of performance that we needed from the first minute to the end.

“They showed what a talented bunch they are.

“We spoke on Friday about everyone coming together and the word we used was ‘unity’ and we had that tonight.

“That has to be a barometer for us for the rest of the season. In terms of when the team dynamics and the cohesion is right on the pitch, the atmosphere is electric, and we had that tonight.

“We had a full house - credit to everybody in all areas of the football club. We’ll enjoy that three points tonight.”
