Slaven Bilic wants Albion to use their 2-0 victory over Luton Town as a blueprint for the rest of the season.

A first half own goal and then a Semi Ajayi header in the second half saw league leaders Albion win their first league game in 9 attempts.

Bilic has told his players that he expects them to avoid any further slip ups which could derail their chances of promotion this season.

“This has to be a standard in terms of fighting and concentration," he inisted after the final whistle.

“Three points were very important today for us.

“The basic things we have done really well, they had chances but even then Dara blocked so we defended really well.

“We created a lot but in a different way.

“From a lot of second balls we had more chances to score goals but the most important thing was to win and we totally deserved it.

“This will get the confidence back that we lost a little bit which is absolutely natural.

“We are always working hard but working intelligently and managing the situations in the game even when you are sky high on confidence was important.”
