Craig Dawson wants to take Albion's brilliant performance against Liverpool in the FA Cup in the Baggies' relegation battle in the league.

Dawson had an eventful game first switching positions, then having a goal disallowed by VAR and then causing Joel Matip to slice into his own goal just before half time.

Albion travel to Manchester City on Wednesday but then have cruch home fixtures against Southampton and Huddersfield.

The Baggies have lost once in seven games and Dawson belives Albion have fit form at the right time under the guidance of Alan Pardew.

“We’re working hard as a group and as a squad everyone is pushing each other,” he said.

“The confidence is growing now so we just need to keep this run going.

“The performances have been good. We’ve got a tough game next, and we’ll do our best again.

“It was a very eventful match but we worked hard and we kept on going. It was disappointing to concede the first goal but it was a great reaction from us to fight back.

“All the strikers and everyone in the team is working hard. The goals are coming now - everyone’s got to stay focused and keep working on the training pitch and the results will come.”
