Graham Dorrans has capped a remarkable first year at The Hawthorns by being called-up to the Scotland squad to face the Netherlands on Wednesday (KO 19.30).

Dorrans has been capped at every level for his country and could now make his first senior appearance during the must-win game against the Dutch if Scotland are to have any hope of reaching the 2010 World Cup.

The former Livingston man only joined Albion at the start of last season and had to wait until December to make his first start against Manchester City as a substitute.   This season Dorrans has continued his good form scoring his first Albion goal against Bury in the Carling Cup and his second against Rotherham in the next round.

The 22-year-old was previously called up by George Burley for a ‘B’ international against Northern Ireland back in June but had to withdraw through injury.  Cardiff’s Gavin Rae has also been called-up alongside Dorrans.
