Peterborough United manager, Darren Ferguson, is man the majority of Albion fans want to succeed Tony Mowbray as the next Baggies boss.

In a recent website poll Ferguson gained 33.8% of the votes with former West Ham and Charlton boss, Alan Curbishley, closely behind in second place recording 27.2% of votes cast.

Former Albion captain, and the bookies’ favourite, Derek McInnes, surprisingly came in third position only registering 16.2% - less than half of Ferguson’s total.

Albion chairman, Jeremy Peace, is still supposedly sifting through applications with interviews set to take place over the weekend.
