Gera relishes Baggies move

The 25-year-old marked his full debut with a goal in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur, before joining up with Hungary for a World Cup qualifying double-header against Croatia and Iceland.

Having netted in the 3-2 victory over the latter, he told the Baggies' official club website: "It's always been one of my career goals to play in the Premiership, but I thought I would have to play somewhere else abroad first.

"I was surprised when the offer came in for me straight away, but the move from Budapest has so far been a smooth one.

"Everyone in England has been incredibly friendly and everyone has done everything they can to make me and my wife feel at home.

"The training facilities are excellent and football is on a higher level here.

"The game is much quicker and cleaner. In fact the game in is different in almost every way. I've got absolutely nothing to complain about."
