Thirty-eight year-old Dean Kiely has signed a new one-year contract at The Hawthorns in a deal which will keep the 'keeper at the club until 2010.

The Republic of Ireland international's current deal was due to expire in June with the former Charlton and Portsmouth penning a new contract which will take him close to his 40th birthday.

Kiely, who has yet to make a league appearance this season, was awarded the PUMA Golden Glove last term thanks to his 18 clean sheets in all competitions.
