On the day which Ishmael Miller committed his future to the club and Graeme Dorrans agreed to join at the end of the season, Korean star Kim Do-heon has joined the Baggies on loan until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent move.

The Korea Republic international has played more than forty times for his country and is due to jet back on Friday to link up with his team-mates for the World Cup qualifier against Turkmenistan in Seoul.

Do-heon impressed during a training spell with the Baggies back in December with Albion boss Tony Mowbray prepared to give the midfielder time to adapt to the English game in order showcase his talents.

"Do-Heon has undoubted pedigree," Mowbray said.

"He is another player we have assessed during a training spell.

"He showed us during that time he has the ability and talent to create further competition within our squad.

"There may be a period in which Do-Heon needs to acclimatise to the British game because this is his first time in Europe.

"But we're hoping that will be a short period."
