New signing Sherjill MacDonald could make his West Brom debut when the Baggies take on Plymouth Argyle at The Hawthorns on Wednesday night.Holland Under-21 striker MacDonald has joined the Baggies from Dutch outfit AGOW Apeldoorn on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move and is likely to start on the bench.
Martin Albrechtsen, who has missed Albion's last four games thanks to a groin injury, has been ruled out once more, while question marks linger over the fitness of John Hartson who has been laid low by illness.
Baggies manager Tony Mowbray said: "John has come in to see the doctor and we will wait to see how he is. Martin will not be ready - or for the weekend either - but he will be okay for next week."
Goalkeeper Russell Hoult remains suspended by the club after lurid claims about his private life were made in national newspapers last week.
