MacDonald's still on Hawthorns menu

West Brom have extended the loan of Holland Under-21 striker Sherjill MacDonald until January.MacDonald first joined the Baggies from Dutch second division outfit AGOVV Apeldoorn six months ago and went on to make 10 substitute appearances last season. The 6ft forward played a limited role as Tony Mowbray's side battled for promotion after he was required to undergo a knee operation in April but he has now been given another chance to impress.
Mowbray said: "We've all seen glimpses of what Sherjill can produce. I see it regularly in training. Sherjill has undoubted quality and is gradually adapting to the English culture. Let's hope if he gets the opportunity next season he grasps it."
