The Baggies out-of-favour midfielder has moved to Peer Taylors 3rd Division promotion hopefuls after earlier seeing the move break down.

Marshall has signed an initial one month loan deal with the Tigers and is expected to go straight into their side to face Cheltenham on Saturday.

I'm looking forward to joining Hull, they are a big club and when you look at everything they've got, they could be playing at a lot higher level," the former England Under-21 international told the Hull Daily Mail.

"I've got nothing but respect for Peter Taylor. He's a terrific manager and when he asked me if I wanted to join Hull, there was no question.

"Hull are at the top of the division and I hope I can help them stay there. I know they've won their last five games. Things are obviously going well and I just hope I'm not a jinx.

"The deal is only for a month but who knows what might happen after that. It might not work out. There again, I might settle in well. We'll have to wait and see."
