Meggo Wants Gilchrist Back

West Bromwich Albion's defender Phil Gilchrist has been suffering with an ankle injury which forced him to pull out of the trip to Everton at the weekend where they lost out by one goal. West Bromwich Albion boss Megson is confident Gilchrist will line up against Boro at The Hawthorns, where he will be looking for a first win in 11 games having last having a victory against Southampton which has seen them slide to second from bottom in the league.

Megson said "I was forced to make changes with Phil getting injured again.
I thought Sean Gregan played some good football and it was the same with Ronnie Wallwork. But it was the same all over the show - effort wise we could not do more than we did."

Albion will be reasonably confident of taking maximum points from Saturday's showdown, as Steve McClaren's troops - although very strong at The Riverside Stadium - have lost five of their seven away games this season.
