"We showed character, application, resilience and I'm delighted for the lads.
"We went into the game knowing Norwich had been beaten at Cardiff and that we had a tremendous chance to close the gap on them.
"Crewe is a hard place to come and I was pleased with the way we fought back.
"Two years ago something similar happened when Wolves lost in an early kick-off and we won our game and it proved to be a turning point for us. I just hope we can do the same again."
