'Mozza' confident of promotion but tells team-mates to find a ruthless edge as promotion race hots up.

Young midfielder James Morrison has urged his team-mates to find a ruthless edge to keep their promotion mission on track. The £1.5 million buy from Premiership outfit Middlesbrough saw his team-mates miss a host of chances during the 2-0 defeat at Ipswich Town before two second-half goals sunk the visitors.

Going into the New Year's Day fixture the Baggies were sitting three points clear in the Championship however, saw their advantage wiped out by second place Watford and third place Bristol City.

"We're top of the league and one defeat won't knock us," Morrison said.

"I said when I came here that it was my intention to get back to the Premier League and we're still on track, so what more can I ask?

"I'm confident we can do it.

"But we need to bounce back from defeat.

"We need to be more ruthless, fight for second balls and fight for the win."
