Midfielder: We've forgotten how to win

James Morrison admits his teammates have forgotten how to win.

The Baggies have claimed just four victories in the league this season and now find themselves in the bottom three after Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.

Albion face Chelsea tonight knowing three precious points could lift them as high as 13th in the league.

But Morrison believes the added-pressure of being in the bottom three makes tonight’s game against Jose Mourinho’s men even more tricky.

"I think we've forgotten how to win," he said.

"That's the state we are in, the pressure we were under.

"There is pressure. The crowd get edgy, players get edgy, you don't think straight and that is the biggest problem down at the bottom."

Morrison believes the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge, where Albion controversially conceded a last minute penalty, ultimately got Steve Clarke the sack.

“I think that got Steve the sack as harsh as it is,” he said.

"We get three points there and we are still up the table.

"It's obviously a tough job being a referee but those decisions can cost jobs which is a shame for Steve."
