Matty Phillips admits it was a frustrating night in front of goal against the Brentford as the Baggies wasted chance after chance in their 1-1 draw.
Jay Rodriguez and Hal Robson-Kanu were both guilty of missing chances from under the crossbar as the Baggies went to pieces in front of goal.
Phillips himself thunded a shot against the crossbar on an evening when the ball just wouldn't find the back of the net for Albion.
“In the first half we created plenty of chances and we were playing well,” he said.
“It was a bit of a kick in the teeth that we only take a point from the game but it’s another point towards our final target.
“The most disappointing thing is that we had so many chances in the first half.
“There were enough chances to win the game but this is a difficult league.
