Darren Moore was pleased with his first game in charge of West Brom despite Swansea's late equaliser.

The Baggies took the lead when Jay Rodriguez fired home in the 55th minute.

But, Albion again threw away a lead when Tammy Abraham headed home a corner in the 75th minute.

"I was really pleased this week with how the players responded to training," said 'Big Dave'.

"I saw signs of that today. I saw a togetherness and an effort from everyone.

"I thought we controlled the game and deserved the goal - it was coming at the time. I was pleased for Jay that he got the goal. But also I thought we managed the game, managed the ball well, used it well.

"We came up against a resolute Swansea rearguard that didn't want to give much away. So it was up to us to try and win the game. We just couldn't hold on to the lead and they scored from a set play.

"But, as I said, I'm happy because it stops the rot, it was a good performance, and we responded well to conceding the equaliser."
