West Brom manager Tony Mowbray has confirmed he would be willing to consider loaning out striker John Hartson. The former Wales international let slip on a television programme he expected to be made available for transfer when the emergency loan window re-opens next week. Hartson, who has recovered from illness and is set to make the Baggies squad that travels to Hull, has scored six goals in all competitions since signing for previous Albion manager Bryan Robson during the summer.
Mowbray said: "We have had an enquiry or two about John and whenever that happens we have to make a judgment, so at any given time a player may become available. Players are contracted to play here, but if we decide something different then they have to be professional about it and get on with it if they go out on loan. "In the meantime, John has to keep working very hard because he is not in the team at the moment."
