Tony Mowbray has capped off a memorable season by being crowned the Football League Managers' Championship Manager of the Year. Joining the likes of Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson, Swansea City's Roberto Martinez and Hereford United's Graeme Turner, the Baggies boss was awarded the title by his fellow managers in the Championship.

The former Hibs boss guided the Baggies back to the Premiership after last season's disappointment of missing out in the Play-Off Final to Derby at Wembley. Mowbray rebuilt the Baggies squad in the summer brining in no less that 14 players during the championship winning season and scoring more than 88 goals in the process.

Mowbray was presented with the title with the prize by England head coach, Fabio Capello.
