No approach for Jones

media speculation had suggested that Jones had been targetted by the Baggies to replace Tony Mowbray who left the club last week to take over the managers role at Celtic.

"Dave Jones, as far as I'm concerned, seems to be very happy here," Ridsdale told BBC Wales.

"He tells me he is happy, but if any employee, whether they are the manager or players, are unhappy I don't want to keep them.

"He will have to decide if and when the hypothetical question of him going somewhere arises.

"I've had no contact from West Brom or any other club. I don't expect Dave Jones to leave."
