Tony Pulis reiterated his desire to reach the 40 point mark after Albion’s 0-0 draw with Liverpool.

The point moved Albion on to 37 for the season and seven points clear of the relegation zone with only five games remaining.

The Baggies boss praised the commitment of his team after Liverpool enjoyed the lion’s share of possession.

However, Pulis pointed out the Reds had their goalkeeper to thank for keeping Albion at bay.

“We showed resilience. We had to because Liverpool really stepped it up,” said the Welshman.

"From our goalkeeper to the front line they threw themselves into it.

"It's a great point. We had two wonderful chances - Mignolet produced two great saves.

"We need to pick points up because Leciester have won four on the bounce. Strange things happen this time of the year.

"We knew the back five games for us were difficult but we still need three more points from our final four games."
