Pulis: Albion not good enough

Tony Pulis reckons Albion were well off the pace after their 4-0 drubbing against Spurs on their last ever visit to White Hart Lane.

Harry Kane's hattrick and Gareth McAuley's own goal saw Albion resoundly beaten and more questions asked against Pulis' tactics against the top sides.

The defeat saw Albion remain in 8th in the Premier League having failed to register a single victory against the sides above them in the league this season.

"We just weren't on it. Spurs were very good," said the Baggies boss.

"You have to be on it against these teams. We were miles off it and it's disappointing. They have real quality."

While the Baggies boss was disappointed at the manner of Albion's defeat, he added that Albion were unable to compete with those above them in the league due a gap in quality.

"The top six in the Premier League this year, it could be the biggest gap ever to seventh, that's how far ahead of the rest of us they are."
