Tony Pulis lept to the defence of refree Michael Oliver after the official came under fire from West Ham boss Slavin Bilic after Albion's last-gasp equaliser.

Bilic was adament West Ham should've been awarded a throw-in before Jonny Evans met Chris Brunt's last minute corner to head home.

The Hammers boss also believed there was a foul in the build up to Nacer Chadli's excellent opener at the London Stadium.

Replays after the game showed that Oliver made the right call in both instances.

"There were lots of incidents where people were falling over today and Michael Oliver got most of them right," said Tony Pulis.

"Fair play to West Ham they changed the system and caught us out a bit. It was cat and mouse and an entertaining game for the supporters.

"The players have played some smashing stuff at times. They kept fighting and fighting and never gave up. We have 13 games to go and we still need to try and get as many points as we can."
