Pulis unhappy as Albion take the points

Tony Pulis had no complaints after Albion first defeat of the season at the hands of Brighton.

The Baggies were sluggish throughout and two quick fire goals from Pascal Gross either side of half time put the game beyond reach.

Albion added a third through Tomer Hamed before James Morrison came off the bench to score a late consolation.

"We didn’t play well for 70 minutes and we needed to be better in the final third," said Albion's head coach.

“We conceded a goal 30 seconds before the break and then again a minute after the restart which doesn’t help.

“We had a lot more possession towards the end of the game and got ourselves a goal back.

“It’s a disappointing day for us.

“I was pleased with a couple of performances and I’m looking forward to having a whole week to work with this group now, rather than just one afternoon.

“We know where we are and what we’ve got to do.”
