Pulis upset over Everton defeat

Tony Pulis pointed the finger of blame at his defenders after Albion threw away a two goal lead against Everton in their 3-2 defeat.

Albion were coasting after a first half strike from Saido Berahino was followed after the break from a close-range header by Craig Dawson.

But just 21 seconds later Everton had pulled a goal back when Albion old-boy Romelu Lukaku beat James Chester to head home from close range.

The Toffees were level when Arouna Kone beat the offside flag 15 minutes from time before Lukaku bagged his second six minutes before the end.

“The first goal kills us,” said Pulis.

“We should deal with it.

“The other two goals are poor goals - the second one looks offside, the linesman is looking the wrong side. It's a poor decision.

"It's really, really disappointing because before we scored the second goal we had some good chances. We switched off and Everton will punish you."
