Pulis wants more after Hornets draw

Tony Pulis believes Albion will surprise a few people if the Baggies land their top summer signings.

New 12m signing Saloman Rondon came off the bench but was unable to find a break through as Albion earned their first point of the season after a 0-0 draw at Watford.

Saido Berahino missed Albion's best chance with a close range header. But it was Watford who looked more likely to find a winner.

Pulis admitted afterwards he still needs to add new faces to Albion's squad.

"If we can do the business we're trying to do, we'll surprise people," he said.

"Last year the main priority was to stay up - this is a season of change."

Pulis added that Rondon ticks all the right boxes for the Baggies.

He's got everything in the locker that you would want from a striker, and his work ethic is first-class.

"His goalscoring record says he'll score goals - what we've got to do is make sure we get the people in who will provide the service that he needs."
