Purse Could Face Further Ban

Purse was caught on tv replays of the game at St James Park to have hit team mate Ricky Scimeca in the face when lashing out with his arms during the taking of a Newcastle corner.

If found guilty Purse could have another three games added to the one match ban he has already received for picking up a red card for two bookable offences in the same game.
