Robson: Confidence Is Low

The Baggies boss was in downbeat mood after this latest defeat left Albion firmly rooted at the foot of the table and without a win under his management.

"Once Cosmin Contra was sent off, Liverpool were too good for us. They passed the ball well and had too much for us," he said after the 5-0 defeat at the Hawthorns.

"We keep having lapses defensively and we need to iron out why we keep conceding goals.

"When you have lapses like we do it makes it very hard to win games.

"We concede poor goals and teams don't need to have to work hard to score against us.

"All we can do is keep working hard and try and bounce back against Manchester City on Tuesday.

"Confidence is obviously low at the moment after winning just once in 19 games.

"But I am sure that things will change if they can get a win and that will be a big boost for their confidence."
