The single point was the first the side have collected at The Hawthorns under Robson's leadership.

"We'd lost every home game since I'd been in charge so I was really pleased with the effort of all the players. It's encouraging," he said after Monday nights game.

"We are now unbeaten in the last three games and that is something we can build on. We also kept our first clean sheet since I arrived.

"The work rate of the players was very good and we need to go on from this and keep doing the right things if we are to get out of trouble. But we do now have the foundations in place.

"With the position that we are in we need to start winning games. But we are about to start playing against sides in the bottom half of the table and now is the time to show what we are made of."
