Robson Praises Character

The Baggies went into the game at the Hawthorns knowing that a win was vital after all the sides around them at the foot of the table had either won or drawn their games which kicked off a couple of hours prior.

"The results had gone against us before the game so the lads showed a lot of nerve and character to go out and win," he said after the game.

"It's important that we go on and build on this now. It's a platform for us.

"To get that win is a great relief for everyone. We couldn't afford to be any further adrift of the teams above us.

"We have to keep our feet on the ground as it's only one win. But the performances over the last few weeks have been encouraging."
