"We were below par and didn't compete enough and didn't win enough second balls.
"Maybe we did get a bit anxious and perhaps some of the players were jaded after the two games this week but we needed to work harder than we did.
"We should have at least come away with a point and this is a bad weekend for us.
"I certainly don't have any complaints about the fans having a go at the end. You have to expect that when you lose to the team at the bottom of the table.
"We have made it difficult for ourselves now but we knew that it would be a battle right to the end of the season."
