Preston North End chairman Derek Shaw said that West Brom's offer of £1m was a joke! Jeremy Peace hit back saying the offer was a down payment of £1million to be followed by further add-ons making it a serious bid. Megson is determined to have Gregan nin his premiership side next season. West Brom have only made one signing and that was Ronnie Wallwork from Manchester United.
