Kevin Phillips has urged his team-mates to carry their impressive performance at Wembley into the final six games of the season and secure automatic promotion. The Baggies pushed Premiership side Portsmouth all the way in yesterday's semi-final with Albion unlucky to be on the end of a 1-0 scoreline.

Now Albion's 22-goal hitman believes the disappointment of missing out on an FA Cup Final must firmly be forgotten as the beginning of the end of the league campaign resumes at Blackpool on Tuesday (KO 7.45pm).

"Yesterday was a chance to reach an FA Cup final," Super-Kev said.

"Opportunities like that don't come along very often so you have got to try and take them.

"At least we can say we have played in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

"We would have liked to reach the final but it wasn't to be.

"I think it is important for us now to get promoted.

"We go from Wembley to Bloomfield Road on Tuesday night.

"It is important we now focus on promotion.

"That is more important than anything.

"We are sitting in a healthy position in the Championship and if we play like we did yesterday from now until the end of the season, we have got a good chance of getting promoted."
