Tininho moves to the Tykes

Portuguese defender Miguel Tininho has joined Championship outfit Barnsley on a month's loan with a view to gaining league experience. The left-back only joined the Baggies in the summer from Beira Mar for £230,000 but after making his debut on the season opener has failed to make another league appearance for the stripes.

"Tininho's opportunities have been restricted by Robbo's form," Mowbray said.

"He's joining Barnsley to hopefully get some minutes on the pitch and acclimatise to this league."
