Darnell Furlong's header on the stroke of half time earned Albion a point against an impressive Brentford side at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies were on the back foot for most of the first half and conceded in the 43rd minute when Henrik Dalsgaard scored from a corner.
Furlong's flicked header meant Albion replied almost instantly and the Baggies almost won all three points at the death but Charlie Austin's strike was ruled offside.
