Albion kicked off their 2021/22 season back in the Championship with an entertaining 2-2 draw at Bournemouth.
The Baggies started off on the front foot but were behind when Emiliano Marcondes found space in the Albion area to side foot home from 12 yards.
After an inviting cross from Conor Townsend, Dara O'Shea scored Albion's first goal of the season when he powered in a header just past the half hour mark.
For the second time on the evening, the hosts scored against the run of play when Phillip Billing captalised on David Button's poor punch to put the Cherries ahead.
But the Baggies again found an equaliser with Callum Robinson finishing off a fine move down Albion's left after good work from debutant Alex Mowatt.
