Albion missed another chance to earn three precious points after a battling 0-0 draw at Turf Moor.
The Baggies had to play more than an hour with ten men when Semi Ajayi was shown a straight red card for denying a goalscoring opportunity when he handled just inside his half.
But it was Albion who had the better chances after the break with Mbaye Diagne hitting the crossbar and Matheus Pereira having an effort cleared off the line.
