Albion slipped to their fourth defeat in five games after a 2-0 defeat on their first visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Baggies had two goals disallowed and missed a golden chance on the stroke of half time to open the scoring.
But quick-fire second half goals from Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son were enough to end Spurs' three-game winless streak.
