Albion’s quartet at Euro 2016 were celebrating after reaching the second round. James Chester helped Wales finish above England after comfortably beating Russia 3-0.

James McClean was also on the winning side as the winger helped the Republic of Ireland set up a second round tie with hosts France after a famous 1-0 victory over Italy. The former Sunderland man had an impressive opening 45 minutes and should’ve been awarded a penalty when he was bundled over in the area.

Northern Irish defensive duo Gareth McAuley and Jonny Evans both played the full 90 minutes against World Cup winner Germany. The two were unable to prevent the Germans taking an early lead, but avoided a heavy defeat which would of saw Northern Ireland eliminated.

Despite the 1-0 reverse, Northern Ireland will now take on Wales in Paris on Saturday.
